 President: Ms. Andrea Devis, PhD – A visionary leader with extensive experience in
education and workforce training.


Ms. Andrea Devis – President, Anai Caribbean Training Institute (ACTI)
Ms. Andrea Devis is an accomplished business leader, entrepreneur, and expert in organizational
transformation with extensive experience in strategic management, business development, and
performance improvement. As President of Anai Caribbean Training Institute (ACTI), she is
dedicated to driving innovation, academic excellence, and industry relevance in professional
education across the Caribbean. With a strong background in leadership, she has successfully led
multidisciplinary teams, implemented business strategies, and developed initiatives that enhance
efficiency and profitability. Her ability to navigate complex business environments and foster
collaborative cultures has contributed significantly to her success.


Currently pursuing a PhD in Business Management with a focus on Organizational Change and
Performance Improvement at Heriot-Watt University, she also holds an MBA in Leadership,
Entrepreneurship, and Innovation from Anglia Ruskin University and a Bachelor of Arts
(Honours) in Marketing. Her academic and professional expertise allows her to bridge the gap
between education and industry, ensuring ACTI’s programs are impactful and future-ready.
She also serves as Director of Apexis Risk Innovation Group (ARIG), working with Texas A&M
Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) to enhance emergency response training and safety


protocols in the Caribbean. Additionally, she holds a leadership role at the American Chamber of
Commerce of Trinidad & Tobago, contributing to economic and business development initiatives.
Her career includes executive roles at DHL, Digicel Group, and Columbus Communications Ltd.,


where she led strategic growth, optimized operations, and drove revenue expansion. Her expertise spans business strategy, risk management, sales and marketing, and corporate training.
Through ACTI, she remains committed to fostering education and professional development,
equipping individuals with the skills necessary for success in today’s evolving workforce.



 Director of Programs: Mr. Attiba Alexander, MBA, B.A. (Hons), Dip, Cert – A specialist in
curriculum development and professional training methodologies.


Attiba Alexander – Director of Programs, Anai Caribbean Training Institute (ACTI)
Attiba Alexander is a dynamic professional with extensive experience in customer service,
administration, management, business law, and consultancy. As the Director of Programs at Anai
Caribbean Training Institute (ACTI), he plays a key role in shaping the institute’s academic
framework, ensuring that its programs align with industry standards and equip students with the
skills needed for professional success.


With a strong background in education, Mr. Alexander currently serves as a Business Management
Lecturer at the University of the West Indies – ROYTEC Campus and as an Adjunct Lecturer at
Scholar’s Educational Institute. His expertise spans various areas, including human resource
management, negotiation and conflict resolution, organizational behavior, and business
administration. His commitment to education is evident in his ability to develop and deliver
curricula that engage students and enhance their learning experiences.
Beyond academia, Mr. Alexander has held several leadership positions in both public and private
sectors. He served as an FCD Senior Court Services Officer at the Judiciary of Trinidad and
Tobago, where he was instrumental in implementing policies and procedures that improved court
services and customer relations. Additionally, he has experience in recruitment and admissions,
having worked as an Administrative Officer at the University of Trinidad and Tobago, where he
oversaw student enrollment processes and academic policies.


As a consultant, Mr. Alexander specializes in project planning, strategic management, and
business performance improvement. He has successfully led teams in various capacities, providing
training and mentorship to professionals across multiple industries. His ability to integrate
theoretical knowledge with practical applications makes him an asset in developing innovative
educational programs at ACTI.


Mr. Alexander holds an MBA in General Management, Administration, and Human Resources
Management from the University of Bedfordshire. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in
Business Administration from Brittany University and UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio
de Murcia. His academic credentials, combined with his extensive professional experience, make
him well-positioned to drive the continuous growth and development of ACTI’s educational
offerings.


Passionate about lifelong learning and professional development, Mr. Alexander is dedicated to
fostering an academic environment that nurtures talent, encourages critical thinking, and prepares
